We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our dynamic team at a FDI company specializing in the production and exporting overseas. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, fluency in Chinese speaking, and a business partner mindset to effectively manage the accounting operations in Vietnam. This role requires strong leadership skills to oversee a team of more than 5 accounting professionals and ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of more than 5 accounting staff, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to team members.
Financial Oversight:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese tax laws, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including tax authorities, auditors, and business partners.
Business Partnering:
Collaborate with the Financial Director and other department heads to provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
ERP System Management:
Utilize the company’s Chinese ERP system to streamline accounting processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Troubleshoot and resolve any system-related issues in coordination with the IT team.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Chief Accountant certification is a must.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting in manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience in managing a team and working in a multinational environment.
Language Skills:
Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory to communicate effectively with the headquarters and Chinese stakeholders.
Proficiency in English and Vietnamese is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Had experience working with EPE business before
Experience with ERP systems (preferably Chinese ERP systems).

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Business partner mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
